Electron tubes

      Xuguang is geared up with advanced production lines which cover the manufacturing and surface cleaning of metal parts, cathode, pyrolytic graphite grid and Mo-grid. Parts sealing and assembling are all completed in our factory as well. Xuguang is qualified to design and produce various kinds of electron tubes which can be applied in broadcasting, television, radar, industrial heating, laser drivers and even ultraviolet detectors; nevertheless, it’s noted that some of the products canonly be made in Xuguang. At present, our electron tubes are widely exported to many countries located in European, North America, South Asia and some others places in Mideast.



    Xuguang has been committed to research and develop grid-controlled electron tubes for fifty years and now we grow to be the largest manufacturer of grid-controlled tubes in China whatever in variety, specifications or annual production ability. Still it’s known that the first transmitting tube of decimeter wave was given birth in Xuguang and its quality of the similar electron tubes can reach up international standards.

Ceramic metallization

 

    It’s known that the technology of ceramic metallization is a core process in manufacturing of metal-ceramic vacuum components. Precisely, our process level not only represents the highest standard at home, but also we could win some places in international competitions with these companies like Siemens in Germany and Coors in America. On this field, our processing capability plays the greatest role as well.

 

Mo-cylinder extension technology

 

    At present, there are only few countries in this world which are capable to extend Mo-sheet into cylinder for grid because of its hardness and plastic deformation, but Xuguang manages to extend the Mo-cylinder to five times of its original diameter in length.


Mo-grid precise banking technology

 

    Precise blanking means to blank precisely distributed rectangular holes with essential devices and moulds along the circumference of a Mo-cylinder which have been extended and machined. Ordinarily, the shortest grid pitch can reach to 0.42mm, and the width of grid wire matches to 0.08±0.001mm.



Pyrolytic graphite grid

 

    Since the dissipation power density of pyrolytic graphite grid is 30W/CM2, which is much higher than 10W/ CM2 that the traditional Mo-grid does. Therefore, its thermal electric emission and secondary emission is relatively low, and thermal mechanical strength is higher, which makes pyrolytic graphite grid widely used in the production of super power tubes. Xuguang has invested over 5millon RMB to establish a unique pyrolytic graphite grid production line which includes these processes likewise depositing, machining, laser cutting, and surface cleaning. Upon our continuous efforts, we have managed to control the process and treatment of variety.



Mesh thoriated tungsten cathode and dynamic carbonization technology

 

    In order to ensure stable performance of cathode at 2000K for a long term, we have done many researches and improvements on our appliances, processing, and even on jigs and fixtures, which not only make every cross-welding joints unanimous in depth, but also improve the roundness from 0.1mm to 0.01mm. Since the traditional static carbonization process is optimized into dynamic process, the cathode emission is increased by near 20% and at the same time decrease the spread of filament current.

 

Hypervaptron cooling on anode

 

    At present, the most efficient cooling method is hypervaptron and through its applications, we therefore improve the heat dissipation capability of anode to 1760W/CM2. The electron tube FU820C which is now servicing in Beijing electron-positron collider is developed by this technology in Xuguang.

 

    As a series of critical techniques likewise these above-mentioned are put to use, Xuguang is then capable to manufacture 100-500KW and 10-60KW analog or digital high power tubes for broadcasting and televisions.
